adidas Is Still The Main Competition According To Nike Founder Phil Knight

Guest User September 30, 2015

We've seen the growth of adidas from a purely sports label into a multi-faceted, fashion forward brand that is turning people into believers. One of those who believes in what the 3 Stripes can do is Nike's own founder, Phil Knight. In an interview with USA Today, when speaking on the Swoosh's competition, he admitted that the brand worries about competitors and stated that "adidas is the next biggest and they've got a lot of money to spend and they have a lot of capability."

With all the moves that the 3 Stripes have been making as far as their endorsers as well as the quality of their product (from a visual and technical standpoint), adidas is primed to gain more of the market and expand their reach in the United States.
