MLB x Nike Air Max 1 City Connect "Milwaukee Brewers"
Wisco Way, on foot. The MLB x Nike Air Max 1 City Connect "Milwaukee Brewers" arrives as the Brew Crew's contribution to Nike's most ambitious baseball lifestyle program yet — a collection that translates each participating team's City Connect uniform identity directly onto the Air Max 1, the iconic runner that has spent nearly four decades absorbing every culture it touches. Milwaukee's "Wisco Way" jersey brought Great Lakes blue and sunset warmth to American Family Field. The Air Max 1 brings it to the streets of the Third Ward.
Light blue hairy suede covers the dominant upper panels in the Great Lakes-inspired tone that anchors the "Wisco Way" aesthetic — the tactile, textured surface catching light with the specific quality of a material that earns attention the same way a good uniform does, not by being loud but by being right. Deeper navy suede arrives at the mudguard, heel, and lower panels with the grounding contrast that keeps the lighter blue from floating free of the silhouette's structure, while white mesh breaks the suede with the clean breathability the Air Max 1 has always carried at its foundation. The rainbow-bordered Swoosh is the release's most visually striking detail — yellow and orange trim outlining the lateral panel's most recognizable mark in the sunset gradient that references Wisconsin's lakefront evenings, the multicolor edge pulling the "Wisco Way" palette across the shoe's most prominent design element. A small orange lace detail adds another pop of the sunset tone, while the tongue badge carries a playful baseball graphic that keeps the collab grounded in the sport that gave it its reason to exist. Chain-stitched "Brewers" text at the heel and the Barrelman mascot on the tongue complete the team-specific details — the full City Connect identity applied to the Air Max 1 platform at $150.
Available May 9th exclusively at MODA3 in Milwaukee's Third Ward and at American Family Field that evening during the Brewers-Yankees game, one pair per person, no online pre-orders. If you want them, you go to Milwaukee to get them. That is very Wisco Way. The first 200 buyers walk out with a limited-edition art print from Milwaukee artist Ric Stultz alongside their new kicks. The ballpark and the boutique, the same Saturday, the same shoe. Show up early.
