The ACG Zegama Trail leads the collection as Nike's most technically advanced and athlete-tested trail running shoe — the third evolution of the Zegama lineage, now carrying the ACG designation that confirms it belongs to the most serious outdoor performance category in the Nike catalogue. Every element of the construction was developed with direct input from the Nike All Conditions Racing Department — 22 elite trail athletes from eight countries who wore prototypes across mountain ranges worldwide, covering distances up to 100 miles, and gave the feedback that turned a good trail shoe into the most rugged one Nike has ever produced. Exposed ZoomX foam sits directly underfoot for the first time on a Zegama, delivering 85 percent energy return in the lightweight compound that Nike reserves for its fastest racing platforms — here paired with a bed of Cushlon 3.0 foam for the stability that ZoomX alone cannot provide on unpredictable terrain. The same Vibram Megagrip outsole that earned trust on the Trail shoe returns here with a wider base and robust rubber coverage optimized for downhill stability and control — the conditions that expose the limits of lesser hiking footwear and confirm the quality of the right one.
