London takes the 95 somewhere it has never been. The Palace x Nike Air Max 95 Big Bubble brings the UK's most culturally confident skate brand into collaboration with the silhouette that has always belonged to England's terraces and streets more than anywhere else — and rather than simply dress the 95 in Palace colors, the two have done something more interesting, more considered, and more Palace than that. They have turned the shoe's most defining design characteristic against itself and produced something that reframes the Air Max 95 completely without losing a single thing that made it the shoe it is.
The 95's signature gradient runs vertically — lighter at the base, building through the layered upper toward the collar. Palace flips that axis entirely, running the gradient horizontally from front to back instead. Metallic silver commands the toe and front panels with the reflective, liquid finish of the Air Max 97 "Silver Bullet" — an intentional nod from Palace to another chapter of Nike's most celebrated Air canon — before a London-storm black moves in through the midfoot and takes over the heel completely, the transition landing in the exact middle of the shoe with the precision of a decision made by people who understood the 95's geometry before they touched it. The colorway runs consistently through each of the wavy panel layers, the mesh base, the midsole, and the collar, maintaining the gradient's logic at every level of the construction. Baby blue arrives at the heel pull, Air bubble units, lace loop striping, and on the co-branded tongue tag where both Palace's triangle logo and Nike's Swoosh sit side by side — the only color in the shoe that belongs to neither silver nor black and the one that ties the entire build together. Double logo hits on the outsole window and insole confirm the partnership at every surface the shoe touches.
The Big Bubble construction brings the enlarged forefoot Air unit back to the 95 in its most visible, most authentic form — the technology that made the silhouette a landmark thirty years ago present here in the Palace iteration exactly as it deserves to be. A 25-piece apparel range of hoodies, tees, shorts, and mesh bibs completes the drop, but the shoe is the statement. Palace found the one thing the Air Max 95 had never done with its own gradient and did it first. That is very Palace. That is very 95.
