Release Date: February 13th, 2025
The Reebok Engine A "Black Silver" marks Reebok’s return to performance basketball footwear after more than a decade. Inspired by the 1990s Mobius line, this sneaker features a modernized design with a lightweight exoskeleton upper, a high-abrasion rubber outsole, and Reebok’s signature ERS (Energy Return System) midsole for enhanced performance on the court.
Dressed in a sleek black and metallic silver colorway, the Engine A is accented with bright red details on the midsole, tongue, and insole. This colorway was first seen on WNBA star Angel Reese when she debuted the model in 2024. Other athletes, including Chicago Bulls rookie Matas Buzelis and five-star prospect Nate Ament, have also embraced the silhouette.
Reebok CEO Todd Krinsky described the Engine A as a "monumental moment" for the brand, as it reestablishes its presence in basketball culture. The sneaker is designed for players at all levels, offering a locked-in fit, responsive bounce, and optimal traction for quick movements.
