From subway car fame in the past to prestigious gallery and museum exhibitions today, Futura boldly reinterprets space through color, characters, and typography.
This special-edition Dunk Low is a collaboration between Futura's commercial product brand and design studio, Futura Laboratories, and Nike's storied skateboarding division. The design celebrates Nike's heritage of artist collaborations by incorporating graphic elements from Futura's paintings into the classic Dunk silhouette. Featuring a bleached canvas backdrop with colorful overlays, puff print details, custom tongue labels, and insole art, the shoe is finished with a translucent sole that reveals Futura's iconic signature. Contrast stitching and coordinated two-toned laces complete the look, while the original Dunk Low construction pays homage to Futura’s long-standing relationship with Nike SB.
