The player exclusive worn by Ben Gordon serves as inspiration on the upcoming Nike Air Foamposite Pro. Although Ben Gordon's NBA career was short-lived, the UCONN star came out of the NBA draft as the third overall from the Chicago Bulls in 2004. Nike wasted no time hooking up the upcoming star guard with exclusives, which included the infamous vivd blue Foamposite Pro PE. Now over a decade later, Nike plans to hit retail with a similar colorway.
Although the shade of blue is a bit different on the upcoming release, many details remain the same. There's the solid blue outsole, leather eyestay, and large plastic Swoosh on the side.
The Nike Air Foamposite Pro "Varsity Royal" is set to hit retailers on August 26th, 2016. Retail will be $230. You'll be able to grab a pair on Nike.com and select retailers worldwide.
