Kevin Durant's playoff edition KD 8 Elite hasn't even made its way to retailers yet, but Nike is already showcasing KD's next signature. Today Nike unveiled the upcoming Air Zoom KD 9. Designed by Leo Change, the sneaker was designed to help Kevin Durant stay versatile as he runs over four miles per game on court.
The low-cut silhouette included Flyknit construction to keep the sneaker super lightweight, breathable, and provide extra support. A distinct honey-comb knit is featured across the forefoot for multidimensional strength; aiding KD's lateral quickness. Lastly, a tapered Air Unit runs from the toe to heel to provide maximum protection from constant impact.
The Nike Air Zoom KD9 will hit Nike.com and select Nike Basketball retailers on June 20th, 2016.
The new KD9 offers support, comfort and responsiveness with the most advanced construction of Nike Flyknit and Zoom Air technologies to date, adapted to basketball's specifications.
