After earning over 45 million views on their viral "Damn Daniel" vine, Daniel Lara and his high school friend Josh Holz appeared on the Ellen Show today. During the interview Daniel and Josh explained how the video came about, how it progressed, and how quickly it became popular. Their 15 minutes of fame seems to be paying off. Towards the end of the segment Ellen blesses Josh Holz (the one who recorded and talked over the snapchats) with a custom surf board. She also announced that Vans has gifted Daniel Lara a lifetime supply of Vans, and they're just not white sneakers!
