The teaser dropped a few months of Kanye West performing on American Idol in San Fransisco and we didn't really know much of what to make of it. Today, the highly anticipated full video of Ye' American Idol performance on AI has arrived.
“My name is Kanye. I’m from the south side of Chicago,” he says. “Originally a producer… I always wanted to rap and no one really believed in me.”
After introducing himself, Kanye West performs his 2005 hit "Gold Digger", which happens to reference Jennifer Lopez, who ironically is one of the judges. You can watch the full performance in the video above.
