A high top Nike Cortez appears to be releasing by the name of the Nike Cortez Chukka. Since debuting in 1972, the Nike Cortez was always made as a high top. Although the materials and look of the Cortez have changed throughout the years and they've has always been a low top retro. 40 plus years later, Nike has changed the script with a brand new model, the Nike Cortez Chukka.

The Nike Cortez Chukka features a higher top look, with additional padding around the collar, giving the sneaker a completely different look. The two colorways pictures above have already released in Japan, so the stateside release could be near! Stay tuned with @SneakerShouts for more info!
