Fila has been cooking up classic kicks for quite some time while at the same time breaking ground and creating history. The T-1 mid was one of their timeless entries into the Tennis world and has remained a streetwear and fashion staple decades after it first stepped onto the court. This was one of the primary reasons why it was chosen as the next silhouette for a collab shoe. The shoe is about as perfect and as low profile as it gets but Fila and NYC's Mr.Flawless gave it a bit of flair and a hit of major eye catching appeal. The pack brings about a black pair and a white pair (in premium leather) that are both adorned with gold on the signature "flag" and Fila branding on the upper. The golden touch doesnt stop there as we see the co-branded tongues sport the bright color as well as the Italian flag and a graphic insole that is draped in the precious metal. A white midsole gives way to a sweet gum outsole while the golden lace tips add a nice touch when tying everything up.
The fun doesnt stop there as the packaging took a life of its own as Flawless brought gold (and diamonds) to the interior of the box while the timeless Fila type now gives way to "Flawless", making the overall project an amazing, detail laden masterpiece.
The release will take place this Friday (August 28, 2015) and will come with an MSRP of $110. Pairs will be available on a first come first serve basis at Mr. Flawless located at 1196 6th Avenue New York, NY 10036 from 10 am – 12 pm.
