After the Air Jordan 11 "72-10" received a new release date, the Air Jordan VIII Retro "Chrome" has followed suit. Initially set to release on December 26th, 2015, the Air Jordan 8 Retro "Chrome" will now release a week earlier on December 19th, 2015. Early speculations were that Jordan Brand wanted to avoid releasing a sneaker against the Adidas Yeezy set to release that same day (December 19th), but this change puts the "Chrome" Air Jordan 8 Retro up against the Yeezys. Stay tuned with SneakerShouts as more information unfolds.
Editors Note: In my opinion, Jordan Brand might have over scheduled sneaker releases for the last month in the year, and could be looking to free up space to possible release something unannounced or restock some of our favorite past releases. Although all speculations, it wouldn't be surprising if Jordan Brand does something special to make waves, especially after taking huge losses with inventory sitting and Adidas gaining traction.
The Retro 8 "Chrome" will now launch on 12/19. It was previously set to release on 12/26.
