Jordan Brand has moved the release date for the Air Jordan 11 "72-10" to next weekend. Originally releasing on December 19th, the Air Jordan 11 "72-10" will now release on December 12th, 2015. Nike Store will be holding an online raffle between 8am EST. and 10am EST. on 12/7. If you win the raffle, Nike will automatically charge your account the total amount. In efforts to shape a better customer experience online, Nike has been implementing this strategy.
It has been confirmed that all retailers will release the AJ 11 "72-10" on December 12th. Nike may be trying to avoid clashing with the Yeezy release that same day. Adidas has another Yeezy dropping on December 19th and Nike has experienced poor sales with releases on the same day. Although this is all speculations, I wouldn't put it past Nike to pull a quick audible to try to position their business into a better situation.
