As Kobe Bryant enters what could possibly be his last NBA season, Nike wants to pay homage to the Kobe and his championship accomplishments with a special Nike Kobe X Elite colorway, which could end the Kobe X series before moving onto the Kobe XI.
Previewed on Nike Talk, the Nike Kobe X Elite "5 Rings" features a black and crimson flyknit upper with a multicolor toe box. The heel features five gold rings, symbolizing Kobe's five NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers. Gold accents can be found throughout the sneaker on the Nike Swoosh, Kobe logos, laces, eyelets, and speckles on the midsole.
There is currently no release information for the Nike Kobe X Elite "5 Rings", but don't be surprised if they hit retailers soon. Stay tuned with SneakerShouts as more photos and information unfold.
