Tracy McGrady was one of the best and most versatile ballers to ever hit the NBA. Fittingly adidas was there to take the journey with him as he made the jump from high school to the league. With that being said, we saw plenty of dope models and silhouettes which made T-Mac fans quite happy and gave us quite a few memorable kicks to cop. One of the silhouettes that stands out the most would have to be the T-Mac 5, a model he wore during his days with the Houston Rockets and well remembered for the cross strap and hardwood heel counter that became its signature.

This time around adidas is bringing the shoe back in a black/blue "rain" theme, making us recall those games when McGrady was raining 2s and 3s from all over the floor. The camouflage-like rain pattern even comes with "rain drops" on the shoe, making sure that we get the message.

When T-Mac had it going, he was pretty much unstoppable. He truly did personify the saying "when it rains it pours", as you'll see by the short vid below of one of Tracy's incredible runs in an NBA game.
