Nike unveiled the 2015 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection on Friday. Nike also announced a ton of special Air Jordan 12s that would be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Doernbecher Children's Hospital. The Air Jordan 12 #DBFrozen created by Mark Smith and Tinker Hatfield are already on eBay with bids well over $10,000.
On Friday night a pair of even more exclusive Air Jordan 12s appeared at the Portland Art Museum. Longtime sneaker enthusiast and current Anahiem Angel baseball player, Shane Victorino, was gifted a pair of 1-of-1 Air Jordan 12s. The sneaker featured lasered all over print which featured graphics that were special to Victorino's life and achievements. The sneakers were packaged in an ornate box which incorporated graphics from Victorino's Hawaiin heritage.
